报告题目:ISO-15926 and Semantic Web Applications in Oil and Gas 报告人:Prof. Chunming Rong and Ms. Bente Dale University of Stavanger, Norway 时 间:2008年12月10日(周三)上午9:30 地 点:蒙民伟楼109会议室 摘 要 Modern oil and gas industry is to a large extent a knowledge- and information- industry, and techniques from computer science and informatics can make signif icant contributions to productivity and environment protection. We will consid er ISO-15926 and other semantic web applications from more sophisticated work processes in oil and gas. Focuses is on integration of offshore and onshore, r eal-time simulation and optimizing of key work processes, and integrated opera tion centers of operator and vendors. And then, Ms. Bente Dale will give a brief introduction of University of Stava nger and the possibility of an exchange or a whole degree oversea study. 简 历 Chunming Rong received his bachelor, master and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Scie nce from the University of Bergen in Norway in 1993, 1995 and 1998, respective ly. Currently, he is a Professor and chair of the computer science section at the University of Stavanger. He also serves as an adjunct Professor at the Uni versity Graduate Centre, University of Oslo, since 2005. Prof. Rong received C onocoPhilips Communication Award (Norway) in 2007. His paper “New Infinite Fa milies of 3-Designs from Preparata Codes over Z4” awarded Editor's Choice in Discrete Mathematics in 1999. He is an associate editor for International Jour nal of Computer Science & Applications (IJCSA), and severed in editorial board for International Journal of Mobile Communications (IJMC) from 2003 to 2006. Prof. Rong is chairman of the board of the Foundation of the Norwegian Compute r Science Conference (NIK) in 2005-2007, board member of the Norwegian Informa tion Security Network (NISNet) for 2007-2011, and member of the Norwegian Info rmatics Council (Nasjonalt fagråd for informatikk). He is also a member o f the board for “ICT Security and Vulnerability (IKT-SoS)” Program at the Re search Council of Norway. Currently he also serves in the workgroup for Inform ation Security in Integrated Operation at the Norwegian Oil Industry Associati on (OLF). His research interests include computer and network security, wirele ss communications, cryptography, identity management, electronic payment, codi ng theory and semantic web technology.
