In this talk, I will introduce our research on high performance networking. In
particular, I will talk about the research issues on network routers/switches
, network coding, network survivability, VoIP, network security. 简 历
Xiaohong Jiang received his B.S., M.S. and Ph.D degrees in 1989, 1992, and 199
9 respectively, all from Xidian University, Xi’an, China. He is currently an
Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science, Graduate School of
Information Science, TOHOKU University, Japan. Before joining TOHOKU Universit
y, Dr. Jiang was an assistant professor in the Graduate School of Information
Science, Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST), from Oct.
2001 to Jan.2005. Dr. Jiang was a JSPS (Japan Society for the Promotion of Sci
ence) postdoctoral research fellow at JAIST from Oct.1999-Oct. 2001. He was a
research associate in the Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering
, the University of Edinburgh from Mar.1999-Oct.1999. Dr. Jiang’s research in
terests include optical networks, wireless networks, routers/switches, network
coding, VoIP, network security, VLSI/WSI systems, etc. He has published over
130 referred technical papers at premium international conferences and journa
ls, which include IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking, IEEE Transactions on Pa
rallel and Distributed Systems, IEEE Transactions on Communications, IEEE Jour
nal of Selected Areas on Communications. Dr. Jiang was also the winner of the
Best Paper Award of WCNC’08 and the ICC 2005- Optical Networking Symposium. H
e is a member of IEEE. |
